Khanyisile Bujela

Khanyisile Bujela is a young Black woman who is a HPCSA registered Counselling Psychologist who holds a masters degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
She has working experience in the NGO sector, welfare space, community, university and school environment.
Her particular interest is in working with adolescents and adults who face various emotional difficulties including anxiety, grief, adjustment difficulties, depression and relationship issues. Alongside this, she enjoys working with families offering family and martial therapy. She also provides psychological assessments including emotional, developmental, cognitive and career choice assessments. All of which she conducts in English, isiXhosa and IsiZulu. She also has a good understanding of Sesotho and Setswana.
She approaches each client’s case uniquely based on the client’s individual needs and is comfortable working from an integrative approach drawing from different psychological theories and approaches.
Khanyisile believes that it is important for Psychologist to offer psychological interventions that are cognisant of and sensitive to South Africa’s cultural diversity and psycho-social factors as these all contribute to one’s mental well-being.
